Applied online which involved personality and competency tests. Passing the first stage I then had to do nunerical, verbal reasoning and puzzle tests which were hard but they allowed you a round of practice goes. Next was a video interview which involved 10 questions and after getting through this stage it was the assessment centre. This wasn’t too bad, nice assessor, and fellow candidates but when you aren’t successful they offer no feedback which is very unhelpful!
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at ALDI (Naas) in Oct 2018
Interview
We were asked to discuss a survival situation. We were given the 10 minutes to think personally and write down our results. We then had around an hour to discuss and come to unanimous conclusion. Spend the 10 minutes wisely, be very clear about your thought process as you will be judged on how you convince everyone, not on the actual answers.
Then we were given some basic aptitude tests. It consisted of basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and reading comprehension.
Finally we were divided into two teams and had to debate about death penalty. For the debate, we were divided randomly and didn't get to choose a side based on our personal opinion. So be prepared to defend a point of view that contradicts your personal opinion.
Everyone was very professional, contrary to what I had heard about debates turning into screaming contests.

Interview
Long and intensive process. After limited contact subsequent to applying the group interview was set to take about 3.5 hours with no indication of what it would involve. There was a mix of recent graduates and people with over a decade of experience.
