I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Barclays (Londres, Inglaterra) in Nov 2016
Interview
It was an online application process, followed by different tests of your verbal, situational judgment and numerical skills. Some were with a timer. Then you go on an interview where 2 managers in the branch I was supposed to work, were present. Only one was asking the questions and the other was writing them down.

Question 1
Tell me a time when you had to make a difficult decision that involved great risk?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
First online assessment, then in depth situational judgement interview with two pannel of interviewers.
The interview was full of different questions and you should answer with your real work experience.None of the questions were about your personal life, interests, future plans, why you want to work for Barclaycs etc..
I did not get an interview and just wanted to air my views re their selection process. I have failed the entry test but cannot see how this has any reflection on my ability to carry out a banking role of this nature, I worked in a bank previoulsy for 23 years.......surely this proves my capabilities on its own??? Its quite some time since I studied Olevel maths so to say I would be sketchy on a numerical test would be an understatement, (I did not go down the route of having someone else do the test on my behalf, I do have integrity....does that even count?) My bug bearer is that Barclays offer apprenticeships to applicants with no qualifications whatsoever (no dis-respect to these applicants intended) AND they state they believe that everyone deserves bright prospects, no matter what age or just wanting to return to work. So my 23 years experience counts for nothing in rewarding me with bright prospects for my future!!!..........Utter twaddle on Barclays behalf I think!!!!
