I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Apr 2009
Interview
First interview was a phone interview. About 15-20 mins with an analytics representative. Basic questions like, "tell me about your view on the market", "tell me about the most recent financial article you read", and "name 3 other companies you'd rather work for other than your current employer and Bloomberg - and why?"
Second interview was in person at HQ in NYC. 50+ people there. 2 thirty min interviews in a massive room while everyone else was doing the same.
last interview was a new visit to HQ and 1-1 with director of analytics. Offered job later that day. Really quick turn around.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Londres, Inglaterra) in May 2011
Interview
I applied online and submitted my resume. I am fluent in several languages. I also had prior sales experience so I applied. Few days later I got an email requesting I go through a phone interview. Questions during the phone interview were pretty generic and easy to answer. The lady I spoke to was impressed with my answers and set me up with a group interview. Since the job was located in England I went to a local Bloomberg branch for teleconference interview. A hotshot sales guy and a new-hire manager came to interview me. They were polite and nice but the sales guy was persistent. He saw right through me I was not interested in finance. I am but not on a macroscale. The manager was more accepting since she started at Bloomberg with a spanish major and worked her way up to one of the biggest account holders in UK. few days later, they sent me an email saying they were no longer considering me for that position. I'm glad I did not go through with it. instead of being in sales, I'm on purchasing now.
for all those considering sales, think twice. sales is a very tough world, it is one of the most mentally draining and psychologically abrasive title.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Aug 2011
Interview
Asked to fix a time for phone interview. Woman was friendly and easygoing. Then asked to come to the company for interview, next day proceeded to a group interview.
