I was only able to make it to the second round of interviews. The first interview was basic data structure questions such as the difference between an array/list. They asked me a couple of questions related to how I would clean a dataset, I had machine learning on my resume so they asked about precision/recall. The second round interview was a live coding interview where you had to analyze a dataset.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY) in Jan 2025
Interview
Cleared the first round. I was variation of LRU Cache and some string parsing lc med question. Rejected in Second Round , was asked some difficult variation of Tic Tac Toe.
The interview process was lengthy, and took about two months. First I did a pre-recorded interview, then they contacted me to do a super day. It was an hour long with two team leaders, one from their sales department and one from analytics. Before the superday interview, I felt prepared by the emails that they sent out. I then was brought in for a final interview in San Francisco. It was another hour-long interview with two team leaders, this time of higher seniority.
