Applied online as an internal candidate. Recruiter call, then met with hiring manager, then ghosted despite multiple follow ups with the recruiter and hiring manager. My applications (there are multiple similar roles on the same team) are months old and still not follow up or response. Unfortunately, this seems to be par for the course at Citi, which speaks to how poor the culture is and explains, in part, the high turnover they have.
To reiterate, I am an internal candidate, currently employed in a perm (non-contract) role and this is how they treat me. I can't imagine how they treat external candidates.
