Interview process in just a classical way with four steps.
Human resource interview, Technical interview, Manager interview, Director interview.
Every steps were well organized and everybody was on time on all of the four meetings.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Devoteam (Newcastle, England) in Aug 2021
Interview
Two stage process. First interview was great, with Chris. He asked a load of really great questions around my CV, experience and knowledge. Went extremely well. Then the second stage interview was a chat with the head of DevOps. That went abysmally. They requested an interview on that very day, as he was going on holiday. I managed to do this and he started by asking me how it'd work with me being in Newcastle and the office being in London. This is for a supposedly fully remote position. It was clear they hoped I'd either relocate or love a 6 hour daily commute. As when I indicated otherwise, I got a very disinterested response. There followed 40 minutes of very soft questions, just so they could finish the interview. Despite already clearly deciding a no based on my location. Which is on my CV. On a "Fully Remote" role. Extremely unprofessional and dishonest!

Question 1
How will you go from Newcastle to London? How often and who will pay for this?
