I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (Glasgow, Escocia) in Oct 2017
Interview
The application process begins with submitting an online application form with your CV details, which is then followed up with a phone interview / screening process. Following this stage, you're invited via e-mail to complete an asynchronous online interview where questions are given on the screen and you're given 60 seconds to prepare an answer. The questions I was asked were largely different from the ones posted here for graduate roles, and were more related to future challenges relating to the role or sector, so I would suggest researching the sector and its competitors.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
How would you approach people on different managerial levels / are more senior than yourself in the company?
Recorded Video Interview. Got asked 6 strength-based questions, e.g. 'Tell us about a failure that you have encountered and how you dealt with it'. You have 30 seconds to think about the question and 90 seconds to answer it - relatively straight forward.
Then invited to assessment centre - 4 tests throughout day and 3 interviews.
Test 1. Verbal Reasoning - interactive 'game', but questions as you would expect.
Test 2. Venn Diagrams - Know your Venn Diagrams, although you are given a booklet telling you what the symbols mean if you are unsure.
Test 3. Aptitude test - mixture of competency questions (e.g. there are 3 bags, each is filled with 2 balls. In 1 bag there is 1 white and 1 black ball, in another bag there are 2 white balls, and in the last bag there are 2 black balls. Each bag is labelled what is in them, but each bag is labelled incorrectly. Which bag should you take a single ball out of to determine what is in each bag? Answer - the bag labelled 1 white and 1 black, as if you pick out a white ball, you know that this bag is the bag with 2 white balls in and then the rest follows). The test also had IT questions that you have to answer even if you are there for the business course, such questions include what does http stand for, but these do not matter so much if you are there for the business course.
Test 4. Maths - basic arithmatic (7^4), non-calculator.
3 interviews - same as video interview, but actually talking to a person.
People were all very friendly and supportive - a good experience!
