I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx (Richmond, BC) in Jun 2016
Interview
1) Register online for a sort observation.
2) Go to sort observation and they show you around the place to let you see if you are interested in working in that fast-paced warehouse environment. Takes only 15 minutes.
3) Wait for the online job application in your email. Takes 10-15 minutes to complete.
4) Wait for an email telling you when to go for your interview. (Depending on how efficient their HR is, you should get it within a couple of days. If not, then it might take a couple of weeks)
5) Go to your interview on time. After asking a couple of typical interview questions, they get you to sign a paper to do the background check.
6) Wait up to a week and if you have no criminal record, they will call you to give you the job and tell you to attend the first orientation.
Very straight forward and easy process.

Easy simple no interview, you pretty much have the job if you get a call back and pass the background check. Long process must pass drug test and they take forever calling you back, but it's pretty much worth it
