I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Toronto, ON) in May 2021
Interview
I got a referral from a current Google employee. 3 days later, a recruiter emailed me to set up a phone screen. After I passed that, I had an interview with the hiring manager, and then 2 people at varying levels in the team. After these last 2 interviews, it took 2.5 weeks to hear back about the final decision. My recruiter was pretty good and kept me in the loop with frequent communication. I was gutted that I didn't get the job but that's life - I've moved on.
