The interview process consists of four stages. It begins with an initial phone screening, which is typically focused on assessing background, experience, and overall fit for the role. This is followed by two separate case study rounds, expect to work through practical scenarios and demonstrate my problem-solving approach and analytical thinking. Finally, there will be a behavioural interview, which will focus on past experiences, communication style, and team alignment
Long interview process with multiple steps and interviews. Met with recruiter, then hiring manager, then a practical, then met with team. Felt like a normal process for a large company.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2025
Interview
Recruiter call, followed by a hiring manager interview. Which included one case study and some behavioral questions.
Next I had 3 interviews in the final loop. Across product, strategy and Googleyness.
