I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at KPMG (New York, NY) in Feb 2010
Interview
The company came to our university for a job fair, where I met a few KPMG recruiters personally, and I applied through the career center within the university with a cover letter and my resume'. I was offered an interview, which was decently extensive, lasting about 30-40 minutes. I received a call about 2 weeks later from one of the recruiters who had both been on campus for the job fair as well as the interview process, inviting me to join the KPMG team. Advice I would offer: make sure to have a few questions of your own to ask them, and be personable, as they are looking for TEAM members, and not just busy bee workers.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Explain a time when you had overcome an obstacle with a team. Maybe a team member wasn't do their share of the work; how did you go about responding and overcoming.
Are you more of a follower, or a leader? If you're more of a follower or better as just a team-player as opposed to taking the lead, what would you do if you were put in a group, (whether at work or in school), where no one was a leader? If you're more of a leader, what would you do if you were put in a group with another leader?
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at KPMG (Minneapolis, MN) in Sep 2011
Interview
It began with on campus interviewing at my school. I applied through the school website and received an email expressing an interest in interviewing me. The interview didn't take too long but consisted of behavioral questions. "Tell me a time when you were on a team and XXX".
I highly advise potential candidates to use their school's mock interview process to help them prepare for it if you are not quick witted/extremely charismatic.

Interview
We had the first interview on campus and the interviewer is HR person. The second round interview was at KPMG's office in New York City. Candidates have to meet with one manager and one partner at that day.
