I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at KPMG (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2011
Interview
The interview was behavioral. Because all the questions that they ask are posted online already, therefore it is difficult to make an impression (everybody has similar leadership experiences and group working experience). What is important is to build a connection with a senior manager/someone from the upper management in the company, and to let the hiring managers know you personally.

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at KPMG in Sep 2011
Interview
Participated in on campus recruiting and secured an interview. Two rounds, one on campus, another at the office, two interviews per round. The partner interviews were a little tough but if you make it that far, it seems they are a little more lenient with acceptable answers. All the big four firms have multiple meet and greet events, definitely attend all. If nothing else, it will let you get a feel for the office culture.
