I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kaiser Permanente (Corona, CA) in Sep 2008
Interview
I interviewed at their own clerical job fair. I had to wait in line to apply with me bringing my resume. When I got to the table, they looked at my resume and told me I was qualified for the member service rep. I waited about 20 minutes for the one on one interview, the recruiter just asked me easy general questions. The recruiter called about 2 weeks later and was offered the job pending health immunizations.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most difficult question was a behavioral question. She asked "how would you deal with an irate member."

Interview
I applied online and received a call from a recruiter the following day. When the recruiter called me to set up a phone interview, they also emailed me an additional questionnaire. The questionnaire had about 15 questions about the "required/preferred" experiences from the job description. The interview was very thorough (more than the typical phone interview questions many guides have suggested) and took about 45 minutes. Questions were related to the specific position as well as about specific examples from your experiences. At the end of the phone interview with the recruiter, I was told there would be an additional in-person interview with the hiring manager followed by a panel interview with at least 3 people. After about two-three weeks, I received an email indicating that the position was put on hold.

They require for you to take skill tests in typing, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. You must test above 80% in all areas to continue to the next step of the interview which is meeting with the actual manager. Initial interview is with the HR recruiter.
