I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex (New York, NY)
Interview
Interview process was not bad. Met with 2-3 different Managers separately. Each explained the daily life of a sales representative at Paychex. Road in the field with two Paychex Sales Representatives.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Paychex (Fort Myers, FL) in Nov 2013
Interview
3 step process. Interview with sales manager then go on a ride with the sales rep and then district manager interview. The branch manager interview was very laid back wanted to get to know me as a person went through my background and resume. The sales rep ride was informative got to go on a few appointments and ask a lot of questions. The district manager interview was a two person interview was a little more formal. Lot of situational questions.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex in Aug 2015
Interview
I applied online. I was then contacted by a regional recruiter, who did a brief phone interview. There was an online assessment, which took about an hour and a half. I had another brief phone interview with the recruiter after that, who then passed me off to their local sales manager. I interviewed over the phone with him for roughly 20-25 minutes. Although I could tell by the language that the local sales manager was using, that I was competing against many people, and there probably wasn't any hope of getting the job, even from the beginning of the interview. It was a waste of my time.
