I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Yuba City, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
It's a long drawn out process but Target does a great job letting you know what deadlines need to be met and when interviews will be taking place. The recruiter was actually very helpful and let me know what type of questions to expect and prepare for.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (New Brunswick, NJ) in Sep 2014
Interview
I sat with two different women, both of whom were overall pretty friendly. They asked me a lot of behavioral type questions to ensure that I could be a good team player and leader and that I had good communication skills. They told me during the interview that they are looking for someone who is fun and friendly but can also be stern and assertive when necessary. The interview was about 20-30 minutes long. I received an e-mail two days later inviting me to the second round interview, which was hosted by one lady from HR. That interview was more brief and consisted of more personal questions like why I wanted to work for Target, why I should be hired for the position, and some more behavioral questions.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Target in Mar 2015
Interview
Application was due online. Followed by a four phase interview process. A lot of behavioral questions were asked, but nothing too difficult or out of the ordinary. Overall the interview experience went very well. Unfortunately I never heard back from Target after the final round interview.
