I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Uber in Nov 2014
Interview
Talked with GM on Skype, then came to office and did a small test about potential scenarios. And then they returned to me after a couple days and gave an offer.

Question 1
They did a test by using a couple of drastic situations and how a CSR would handle them.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Uber (Kraków) in Aug 2017
Interview
I was approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn and with her help, I applied for this position (that required Romanian language, because the position was basically doing customer care for the romanian drivers and riders). I had a creative test with 6 questions about what-to-do in specific situations, which was fairly easy, and it lasted 45 minutes(yes, it was timed). In the next day I was mailed to be told that I passed my creative test and I will have an interview with the Team Leader of the team I was supposed to work in future with.
The interview was average and it lasted 30 minutes, with questions about my experience in customer care, my motivation and about Uber itself (I admit I didn't know a lot about the way the app works because I come from a city which hasn't implemented Uber yet, so I relied solely on what I informed myself about). I was told by the recruiter in the beginning that I will also have an interview with a manager to complete the process, but that never happened.
I waited one week and I received no reply, so I mailed them to send me an update about the process. The mail I received back was that the candidate has already been chosen and wished me good luck. So no, I didn't receive the offer. What was kind of upsetting was that I wasn't even informed about the rejection or got a feedback, be it positive or negative.
