The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Uber (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2016
Interview
I applied 8/11 at 8:30am through Indeed and two hours later I received a phone call asking if I was interested in the position and was told a little bit about what the job entailed, I told her I was still interested and then she proceeded to tell me that there was a creative exercise that I had to complete and return within 24 hours, the assignment was basically "what would you do" scenarios but you had to have your response written in email form, there were 4 sections and it was a little tough but if you refer to the legal section on the Uber website you'll be fine, I completed the assignment and sent it back on 8/12 and I was moved to next step which was a phone interview, where she asked about my background in Customer Service which is pretty much everything I've done professionally and more WWYD questions. After the interview she said she would send my assignment and my answers to her questions over to HR and they would decide wether or not I would move on to the next phase which was the on-site F2F interview, I heard back from her on 8/16 (yesterday) and I was invited for an on-site interview. So the interview was today 8/17 and it was more of a conversation between friends because the interviewers were really cool and got to know me and what I'm about, they aslo asked me more WWYD scenario questions more in line with what they've dealt with recently. After the F2F I was told I would hear back soon and I received my offer today a couple hours after the interview. The entire process took 6 days
How would you respond to rider who said his driver was drunk and his car reeked of beer?
How would you handle this same situation if the driver called in and said it wasn't him that was drinking but that riders before had waste a ton of beer in his car
I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Uber (Chicago, IL)
Interview
I applied then they told me they were interested through email. I replied and was then sent a test I had 2 days to complete, it asked questions about what would you do scenarios, then I was asked to do a follow up interview and was asked more scenario questions.
