I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Verizon
Interview
The Intern interview process was so bad. They called about 50 interns at the same time or same day to give the interview. They made us stay at the place for the entire day doing random thing that were unnecessary. It was such a waste of time. They could off just schedule specific time for the intern to come in and give there interview and leave instead of spending the entire day there doing nothing. When i gave my interview the interviewer were so rude. They made me feel like i dumb and i don't know anything. Worse interview i have given in my entire life!!
I applied online. I interviewed at Verizon (Basking Ridge, NJ) in Oct 2014
Interview
Pretty easy. Talked on the phone. They flew me to New Jersey. The flying was annoying, since they gave me a weird connection. But they put me up in a cool hotel.
No coding questions. Asked me where I saw industry going. What leadership experiences I'd had. Was pretty chill.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (New York, NY) in Feb 2015
Interview
It was an online interview, but not a skype interview. I had to record myself answering the questions which was very weird and awkward. You had the opportunity to re-record an answer, but they would know if you did and strongly encouraged against it. It was strange because you didn't get any feedback from another person.
