I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Verizon (Wallingford, CT) in Jul 2012
Interview
I had an initial phone interview July 9, 2012. The woman called 5 minutes later than schedulded. She spoke English with a very heavy Indian accent. It took me a bit longer to answer questions I was prepared for, because I had to proccess exactly what she had asked me. I am not sure if it was really ridiculous of Verizon to have a recruiter who people can barely understand, or if it was a test to see how well I could converse with someone I could barely understand. Either way I guess I failed because I was sent an email a few days later saying I was not what they were looking for. I am not exactly dissapointed because their pay doesn't seem proportonate for the crazy schedule they demand of their employees.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon
Interview
I applied online on 6/4 and got an email from the recruiter the same day to sch and interview. the interview was on 6/6. I passed that interview and on 6/8 had another interview with an HR rep. That went really well and she told me that she would recommend me for an in store interview. This was the longest part. This took almost 5 and half weeks. even after i called the HR rep back to confirm about the last interview. The in store interview went really well and it was 7/20. He liked me so much that he didnt even want to interview anyone else, so i got a call from the same HR rep on 7/23 with an offer.
