I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Verizon in Apr 2010
Interview
Standardized questions given to all applicants. Two interviewers who were actually quite pleasant and not nerve racking. The whole interview process took only about one half hour and was not much of an ordeal at all. My results (pass/fail) were e-mailed to me within a couple of days. Preceding this I had taken a couple of skills/knowledge tests at a different location, also with only a pass/fail system of scoring.

What if you needed to install a converter box in a home and the person wanted you to put it far away from where the cable came into the home, which would degrade performance, what would you do?

Interview
I saw a post on careerbuilder.com for a sales position and it sent me to the company website to apply. After I finished filling out all of the basic info and posting my resume, it sent me to an online test. It was an assessment. About a week later I got a call for an interview. It lasted for about 45 minutes and the managers had a guideline it seems they were going by. It was typical questions such as what qualities are expected in a leader.
