The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Gadsden, AL) in Sep 2010
Interview
The interview process is mostly situational based Q&A. For instance "what would you do if X did Y" etc... Also they want to see either a paper document or power point presentation on your accomplishments in sales thus far. Also a 30/60/90 is a really good measurement to have i.e in 30 days i plan to blank in 60 days i plan to blank etc..
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Verizon in Jun 2012
Interview
Was called to apply for retail sales job online andthen interviewed on phone and a few days later in person locally. Interviews were pretty general ...would like if pay reflected experience. And education. Not impressed with pay in that respect.

Question 1
What do you do if you might not meet your sales quota?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Verizon (Hope, AR) in Feb 2010
Interview
The recruiter will contact you, if selected. She will conduct two phone interviews. If she believes you are a good candidate she will forward your information to the store for a 1:1 with the store manager (and rare occasion the assistant district or district manager). You can get a good feel of the managers if they are impressed with you. The longer they want to talk the better. Basic questions are (example) name a time you had a sales objective and how you overcame it?
About a week after your interview you should hear from them. If not, you probably didn't get the job and can expect a dear john letter via email in about a month. Good luck!
