Pros

- coworkers are smart and friendly - Romanian management supportive and sympathetic - lots of growth opportunities if you land in the right project - some clients give equal control for product development and vision (i.e. client strategic partnership) - financial assistance for participation at tech conferences

Cons

- lost competitive edge some years ago, from boasting of being "employer of choice" to "employer of no choice" - constant turn-over, no desire/solution for retention of competent engineers resulting of a growing sea of mediocrity - some clients just want staff augmentation (you'll be despised by the client's Dev team and treated badly) - limited growth if you land in the wrong project - promotions are not based on merit but on billing for the client - US management and leadership competence is questionable, with dubious ideas (i.e. fluid workforce, war on free candy) - every year we get a new "CTO" who nobody knows what this person does

Thank you for your feedback. We are committed to making 3Pillar Global a place that fosters development and growth both for our employees and our clients. One of the things that drives this is becoming strategic partners for our clients. To achieve it we promote “product mindset” as a core component in our working culture. We realize that getting to the strategic stage is usually a journey. Not all client relationships are there yet, and we are highly appreciative of our teams for the continuous and consistent effort to get us there. Change has indeed been a strong tide in our decisions during the past years, whether these have been changes at management level, restructuring teams or the launch of new company strategies - they all have been designed to help navigate us through to the next stage in scaling our business. While we do gather from your feedback that sometimes this can look and feel inconsistent, this can teach us that we need to create more transparency, more iterative communication and more attention to individual heads up and reviews in terms of employee and company well-being. We would really appreciate it if you reached out so we can further discuss all the points addressed and tackle them directly, especially because you are still giving us the credit to work with us.

Pros

Lot of work from home Cooperative HR team Flexible timing

Cons

- if you are a technology lover then away from this company. Top management values fawners and inefficient people around which actually help them to secure their positions. People with trifling experience in project execution are leading. - small projects with smaller team and duration. why to spoil your career for just few extra bucks? - processes are not well thought but designed to secure jobs of top people so that they can show something is going on.. No ROI applies at top management. They can easily victimize the juniors when they fail. - senior management (especially in engineering - india center) are followers than leaders. Absence of real execution experience is a main hurdle. They really need a LEADER to guide..

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience with 3Pillar Global and for endorsing our HR Team and the work life balance part. We strive to reach everyone through our best strategies. We are known for our best work culture where we believe in transparency, openness, treating each other with dignity and respect, giving opportunity to grow, investing in growth of our people and developing a high performing team hence it is hard to believe that our management values fawners and inefficient people. We will specifically work to ensure that we create an environment that allows team members to engage in work that is aligned with their strengths and career aspirations. We do have projects with latest technology and we see projects in pipeline where team has to work on the latest technology itself. Pros

3Pillar is a place that deeply cares about not only its business goals but also the person. Yes, they've had to make challenging decisions along the way but have always done it with the person in mind. Smart, smart people. Some of the best I've ever worked with. People that genuinely care about where we're headed and how to help each other get there.

Cons

It is always changing. It has changed many times since I've joined. All in the end, for the better. Change is hard. If change stresses you out its not the right place for you.
