      Pros

      With the acquisition of URS, there has been positive change of looking more long term and balancing that with the current bottom line. Previous management seemed to only be concerned about current bottom line and less concerned with what is best for long term good of the company.

      Cons

      Large Publicly Traded company requires constant reporting of budgetary numbers and utilization projections.

      Pros

      The work at times can be challenging but very rewarding. The best part about my job is the people I work with on a daily basis (the field people) are the best in the industry (2nd to none). Their knowledge, diversity and experiences add a lot of value to the projects. The merger seems to be headed in the right direction. There seems to be more and more opportunities for work. Pay and benefits are a bit higher than industry average.

      Cons

      With the merger (URS & AECOM) there is way too much upper management (vp's & directors) I believe this is hurting our competitiveness.

      Pros

      Very diverse, global company with a broad market portfolio. The company is positioned to become the premier Engineering & Construction firm in the industry within the next 5 years. The salary and benefits are very competitive, employee development is a high priority, and the company's executive leadership sets a positive tone for the company and it's future.

      Cons

      With any mega-firm, some employees can feel like they are "just a number".
