Pros

All of the Interns were flown to NYC for a three day orientation. Then you are flown back to the your home office city and begin your 10 week internship. Overall, I learned so much and met many great individuals working at AIG. The interns had a speaker series where a head of a division would talk for an hour on what their part of AIG does. AIG had many networking events and opportunities to advance one's professional career. It was worth it.

Cons

AIG does not pay for relocation or living expenses, so keep that in mind if you want to work in a different city.

Uneventful and improperly managed.

Pros

Laid back, slow work style.

Cons

Coworkers are unmotivated. Life moves slowly. "Too big to fail" means too big to push barriers. Lots of paper pushing
