Pros

Pay is Ok but could be better simply because the rest of the company is getting paid more for this same position and benefits are good.

Cons

Even though it was a new division it was the worst division of a grocery store I've ever seen. How are you a new store to the west coast but you can't keep your stores stocked at all times. The way the district managers treat the employees are horrible they are clueless half the time, they have one store and there stressed out there a joke. The pay for store managers is a joke compared to other grocery stores in the area. Aldi might make it California but they will loss a ton a good people in the process but they don't seem to care right now because that's the Aldi way.

Pros

Hours that suit Me, as I have a little one. Decent pay, variety of jobs, never bored work 25 Hours over 3 days.

Cons

Expect too much, timings on all deliveries. Been at aldi 5 years and made it to management, I then stepped down due to being ask too much of me for no reward. H never failed any test deliveries and smashed all my timings I passed all my secret customer, I am considered one of the best workers, but recently I failed a mystery shopper and I get a disciplinary straight away. There was no asking me why, how, are you ok cause this was out of character, it was straight for disciplinary No questions asked, i made one mistake in in 5 years and this is how they repay you, poor judgement call from management. If anything this is going to make me slowdown and it also affects morale,

Pros

Getting hired is easier, in store problems remain in store. You have a family atmosphere that tries to handles problems together or not at all.

Cons

No one is trained to handle employee disputes and disciplinary issues. Employees get away with a lot because the store manager doesn't know how to handle such situations.
