Getting up at 3am to do a 4-8am shift stocking shelves. The work is very physically demanding and you are expected to be constantly on the go. It's not for everyone. Aldi have targets for how fast you unload a pallet, even if you are a starter you are expected to reach the targets. if you're on till you have targets for how fast you work (1000 items per hour) and accuracy (till must be within £1 difference at end of shift) Also you get test trolleys where the manager tests to see if you are working in the way Aldi expects. Consequently the store where I worked had a high staff turnover.
