Pros

-You can make +$30k without a degree - Health coverage for FT employees - Company phone for personal use - 401k

Cons

- Commission decreases every year. Used to be able to make $55-65k working FT, now you're lucky to hit $40-45k. Most people make around $35k. While AT&T rakes in the dough on wireless, wired, and accessory sales, you get the crumbs that fall of the table. - Insanely high sales goals. AT&T claims to be concerned about customer service, but you can't do good customer service when you have to make 5 wireless sales every day you work. - No respect from management. If you meet your goals, or exceed them, they say nothing. -Aweful hours. We used to work Monday through Saturday, and closed at 7pm. We are now open every day of the week, and 9am - 9pm every day except Sunday. - Terrible support. In store sales staff rely heavily on customer service, technical support, and wired call centers for sales support. Many of the people that work for these devisions are incompetent. It's also not uncommon to get someone that can't understand your name, and spell it back to you because they understand English!
