Pros

If you work there long enough you get decent time off. You get experience working in an Enterprise production Network that spans the globe.

Cons

You're just a number to them. Even though I worked there for 18 years they just cut me instead of placing me somewhere else or even giving me the opportunity. I had two weeks from the notification I was being laid off till I was gone. I gave almost two decades to that company and they cast me out like I was nothing because I wanted to save on their modified pension nonsense.

Pros

Commission is higher than in store sales. You can get AT&T fiber for $10/month

Cons

Long days, 10-14 hours. No overtime. Driving 4-6 hours a day between jobs. Micromanagement. Likely get placed with a manager who cant do the job. on call constant if customer has an escalation or wants an appointment on your day off. Early morning calls with management, afternoon calls with management. Not 40 hours. 55+ hours easily. Do the math on your take home divided by your hours per week, you might as well drive UPS or go be a store manager of almost any other job. "company car" who cares, you're constantly monitored, every time you start your vehicle, if you idle too long, take too long at a gas station for a break etc. Horrible position. Any of my friends who've asked about this position I've told them to never apply. Turnover is above 50% too.

Pros

Competitive compensation Opportunity to gain FP&A experience in a large corporate environment Exposure to high-level financial processes and systems

Cons

Was hired under a hybrid work model (max 3 days in office), but the policy changed without notice to 5 days/week Office is only built for ~70% capacity, making it difficult to find a workspace upon arrival Forced return to office was accompanied by increased cafeteria prices and paid parking, despite limited availability Leadership inconsistencies — had a director who lacked relevant qualifications and was ultimately demoted; during that period, I carried responsibilities beyond my role Workspace logistics are poorly managed — I’ve been removed from available seating (like kitchen booths) due to events while trying to do my job Recently implemented time-tracking tool is inaccurate and reportedly used to terminate employees Low transparency and poor communication have created a culture of distrust and disengagement
