Pros

Diverse teams, flexible hours, working from home project The work in claims can be interesting and colleagues will help you out whenever you come across something new. Would recommend to a friend at the start of their career.

Cons

Lack of communication in management, high level of stress at times, meetings can be conducted in an intimidating manner, pressure to come to work when sick, lack of recognition, lack of development opportunities, HR writing fake and unrealistic 5 star reviews on here, questionable promotions, pay is not terrible but for dublin not great, cost containment procedures like letting us go home early then take it out of our toil

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback. I can assure the HR team do not write fake reviews on this site. I appreciate your comments on communication and we are working on improving communication forums this year which you will have been invited to the recent Town Halls with the CEO and updates through our new Intranet site Connect. I am happy to discuss this with you at any time. Claire Cusack Human Resources Director.

Pros

I could have mentioned all the pros you can see on previous reviews such as health insurance, car insurance, flexi time... but to be honest I haven't seen any major company in Dublin not proposing these kind of perks. That's actually the strict minimum. The only pros I've found is that the company will teach you a lot of things such as patience, politics and strategy

Cons

The company looks like a huge mess!! It seems that there are 2 main categories of people in here: the ones who are way too under qualified to do their job. They will just stab every person they will consider as a threat as they are too scared someone will realize that their jobs can be done better. And the one who are just there to pay their bills / mortgages and won't do any effort for the company. It also seems that the company is completely split between Irish and foreigners. This feeling is amplifed due to the fact that there is absolutely no transparency in the promotion process. Your progression will depend on your team leader / manager, it's like playing lotto. There is a huge lack of communication between departments. No one is going on the same direction. If you don't have a car or if you're not living close to the company, the location will be a nightmare for you. Dublin bus is not really efficient and the shuttle service is actually worse. Once a week I'm late because the bus is late or didn't show up. The cantine is getting a bit better but there's still a lot to do! Still too expensive for what it is.

Pros

None! New Hires are getting more money than I do. Should I appreciate that?!

Cons

I told my supervisor that I am getting bullied by the Senior of our team. The reply that I got was to move to another team within the same department. I don't want to go to HR - my own supervisor didn't want to help me, so why should I believe that HR would be different. I won't comment the positive reviews on Glassdoor. Everyone should make their own picture of what is going on in this company. We are told that we need to stay on the same position for at least 1 1/2 years till we can apply for another department. It's clear that the same rule doesn't apply for everyone. There is a particular women in this company who had 3 different position in the same calendar year. I never saw her doing anything else except drinking her protein drinks, gossiping about others and writing What's Up messages to her best friend who was also working at Allianz Care but in another department. Let me finish my review with one of my favorite quotes: Leaders who don't listen will eventually be surrounded by people who have nothing to say. - Andy Standley

Hello, and thanks for your input. To address your first concern. Allianz Care’s standard starting salary for Officer grade roles in Dublin is €25k, this increases with length of service up to €36k (€37k for Senior Officers). Once the maximum of €36k is reached, Officers are included in the normal annual inflationary salary review process. On occasion, an officer candidate may be offered an increased starting salary based on their language skills and industry experience. However, this is the exception, not the rule, and in cases where an increased starting salary is offered, the length of service increases still apply to a maximum of €36k. As stated before on this platform, bullying is not tolerated and if you feel your supervisor is not receptive to your concerns, you need to contact HR to get this resolved. Regarding your point on your female colleague, we cannot reply to hearsay and rumor on this platform, however, if you feel you have a legitimate complaint, you should discuss it with your supervisor. Regarding your advice to management - Glassdoor is an open platform for anyone to read. Human Resources moderates that platform, therefore there is no need to report posts. - Human Resources
