-Hybrid -Compensation -Benefits such as HMO, Medical Reimbursement, Retirement plan -Aesthetic office and ergonomic furniture -Multinational Company

Cons

-All about numbers! It is not healthy. -KPIs are unrealistic -Office politics -Does not pay overtime -Leaders are unreliable and not trustworthy -Does not allow you to use sick leave -No work life balance -Card members are super entitled -You need to sweat blood before you get any bonus -Annual increase is not competitive -Does not allow you take a break -Stressful environment -Leaders does not listen and does not own their actions -No career growth

Pros

- hybrid work model (2 office days per week/3 working from home) - work equipment (monitor, laptop, keyboard, mouse) - relocation service

Cons

- People don't get promoted based on their skills and expertise but depending on their time working for Amex. - Recruiters give wrong info about job/ position and requirements to applicants - People are employed despite not having any knowledge or skills relevant to jobs. Co-workers cannot even perform basic tasks in MS Office applications that are used on a daily basis and nobody cares. - Toxic work environment where people care more about pretending to be fine and "a great team" despite people working against each other within the team. TLs don't intervene or care and expect you to pretend you're fine. - "Customer first" is Amex' slogan and the biggest joke ever. You learn to do the bare minimum and the goal is to fake numbers (case numbers and closing times, call handling time, etc.), not solve the issues presented by clients. - Benefits change constantly and are currently going downhill (less flexibility, deduction in food payments when sick, etc) - Madrid hub is growing but depends so much on the US that it follows rules that don't make sense for the EU because Amex doesn't adjust them to the market. - Ethics hotline is a joke and as soon as you raise an issue you are forced into letting it go and pretend nothing ever happened.

Cons

Firstly, it takes almost 5-6 months to start receiving commision or at least the larger portion of the commission structure. They give you a small bonus but if you have a high cost of living don't expect to make a lot of money fast and the base salary is very low. Compliance division in complete disarray, which adversely affects the sales side of the company. The training was very bad when it came to dealing with these compliance issues. Whenever you ask questions, they can't ever give you a straight answer. It is basically a guessing game, and you only find out later if you messed up. Goals are very high and turn over rate seems to be high as of late as well. These compliance issues came because the previous sales team were doing something illegal and they were fined heavily by the IRS.
