Pros

You have the potential to earn quarterly bonuses. Work from home eligible.

Cons

The travel perks are not that great. You have to be employed at least a year to use them. They refuse to tell you anything about your travel benefits because of this. Luxury hotel stays are limited by city and they have to be approved by the hotel. The pay/benefits is not worth the verbal abuse you get on a daily basis from upset card members blaming you for problems you have nothing to do with. Also, the company watches you like a hawk. Document everything and cover your butt. Management will tell you to apply for leadership roles, but will fail to tell you that even with their endorsement you still have to stay in your current role a year before trying to move to another department. Not completely remote as they send you a desktop computer with 2 monitors. The culture in the travel department is toxic. Your own manager can’t be bothered to help you. If a card member requests to speak to a supervisor they expect you to handle the issue yourself despite the card member requesting it and often times refusing to speak with you about the issue. The wait times for assistance from other departments are ridiculous. You’ll likely get more assistance from the people in your training class.

Pros

corrupt, immoral, unethical India operation.

Cons

I was sacked by the company in 2014 for complaining about gross irregularities. Both civil and criminal cases against the company in labour and criminal court in Delhi.

Pros

Work life balance PTO Sick days

Cons

Training is non existent Very high turnover rate due to leadership not properly providing resources to successfully sell products. Many internal resources can only be found if you have the ability to connect with some of the veteran sales people. Problem is there are tons of politics that will typically prevent that. Customer service isn’t the top priority, majority of the cards you successfully sell result in fall out due to a very poor process / low product understanding throughout the entire department. Department also has extremely consistent payroll issues that very rarely result in you getting paid. I’ve only worked at the company for less than a year. Since starting over 6 people I started with never received commissions / sign on bonuses. If you contact payroll they tell you contact your boss, when you contact your boss they tell you they’ll look into it and you never get paid. Extremely shady practices around the commission plan. They paint the picture when you’re hired that this is a 6 figure opportunity, once you’re in the role long enough you’ll realize it’s barely possible due to the inconsistency of payouts, absurd amount of compliance rules which are designed to dock your checks, and the non existent support from leadership.
