Pros

Working here is both fun and impactful. It certainly feels great knowing that your efforts are going toward a good cause.

Cons

The issue with most large nonprofit organizations is that you don't know how much of the money you are making is going to the cause itself. As the department grew larger you began to see less care and patience with its employees and a focus on making the most money.

Pros

Directly employed by amnesty, they give really good and ongoing training on how to acquire members, how to engage and build rapport. There is opportunity for growth for those interested in the matters we are out there for. It's a tough job but to balance all the ignorance and rejection on the street you'll have an awesome, encouraging, empowering, and inspiring team around you.

Cons

People don't care about human rights enough that's how you'll end up not making your weekly quota and frustrate yourself standing in the streets for hours without any sign ups. The HR turnover is huge
