Pros

Amnesty International has appeared to be a very diligent organization intent on reporting human right abuse cases.

Cons

The many cases that are processed through Amnesty International, particularly through petitions, seems to have a limited effect. More extensive coalition work with other activist groups is needed.

Pros

Met so many talented, passionate people. Exposure to various types of works ranging from administration to research and community organising.

Cons

Amnesty is like a huge campaign machine. Sometimes you get bogged down with the tasks, processes, and nitty-gritty details that make you overlook the bigger picture.
