Pros

Provide great learning, atleast till 2015, before the leadership changes. Good trainings, cool working environment, free meals, free cab pick and drop facility.

Cons

After recent changes in leadership during 2016, they gave fired tenured good leaders as well as work force and hiring absolute crap. So one can very well think of where they will be standing soon! Squeezing bonuses and annual increaments no matter how good one has performed, they are religiously giving 15℅ efficiency by cutting The work force since 2015 as managers have it as their KPI. No growth for a non political employee. Highly political environment and cut throat competition.

Hiring Freeze

Business Outlook

Pros

Hiring freeze creating internal opportunities, that were otherwise closed to internal mobility. Health Center, Gym, On-Site Bright Horizons Daycare at 745 7th Ave a big +.

Cons

Hiring freeze negatively impacting morale. Cant fire, cant hire. Increasingly more people are talking about leaving, not staying. Very limited advancement beyond VP, queue for Director is "Pie in the Sky". Will never happen, unless you're one of the "Chosen ones". No differentiation between top performers and bottom of the barrel. Year-end comp is comparable.

Pros

Salaries are pretty high for the industry. Variety of work is challenging. Nice surroundings and facilities onsite. Flexible working arrangements are a bonus

Cons

Once you've blagged your way into the company on a high salary then you can quite easily coast under the radar. Far too many meetings Level of scrutiny over change is cumbersome and counter-productive. Offshore staff are preconditioned not to think for themselves so working with them can be frustrating. Opportunity to move up the grade structure is pretty much driven by the need to move across teams. Team-working is very combative, guarded experts making it difficult to gain knowledge
