      Decent place, but heading in the wrong direction

      Pros

      The biggest benefit is the friendly coworkers. It is also a very large global firm with good internal mobility and networking.

      Cons

      This past year Barlcays paid record bonuses, but not to finance. The pay in finance was very inconsistent and the bonuses were a joke. The promotions were also inconsistent and downright frustrating.

      Pros

      Good pay. Flexible office hours. 22 days of paid vacation and 10 days of sick leave. If you meet the expectations, the managers are really nice to you.

      Cons

      Absolutely no training provided to fresh grad students. Employees worry about money more than their work. Too much of politics for power. Everyone in the department knows about our compensation and bonus.
