Pros

Health Benefits are extensive and include everything you could want. Fertility benefits are good but there is a 3 year clawback if you use them (meaning you could have to pay the company back for what you use if you leave within 3 years of using the benefit). I liked my peers and I am glad I have the brand name on my resume.

Cons

I worked here for years, several pre pandemic and after pandemic. The entire experience looking back was like one big manic episode. Everyone around me was constantly panicked, my adrenaline was always pumping. I was exhausted and stopped having hobbies. I stopped going to the doctor because if I left my desk I would get calls back to back. I worked 7-11 and every vacation and then we still were asked to hire more more more. To get anything simple done here is a mammoth effort. Nearly every hiring manager I worked with was not well. Their teams were depleted and headcount was such a fight they had been working themselves to the bone responding to the same types of panic I felt in my role.

Pros

Amazing people Challenging / Interesting work Pay has gotten MUCH better over past few years

Cons

Unreasonable expectations / hours (60-70 hours per week) Promotion process entirely based on your manager's willingness to nominate you, has very little to do with your work, firmwide reputation or accomplishments. You have to work as a the next title up for a year (at your current title/pay) to "prove" it, and then they will put you up the following year (nominations in spring) for a promotion to take place in Jan. So effectively you have to work a level up for almost 2 years without being paid or recognized for it...and if you don't get nominated during the first cycle, you end up having to keep doing so for 3+ years.
