Great benefits but lacks advancement

Pros

Great benefits and a technology driven company, Great Salary compared to other companies. Was not a company that would deny much on the technology side.

Cons

Some managers do not know how to manage people. More worried about the bottom line dollar of one part of the company when a lateral part is overlooked and no changes were made. I was overlooked for a few of the limited positions that opened due to having a child or being a man. At the same time that the company did not deny technology they wasted money on it at the same time by putting into place technology that they did not need to have in place.

Hands on. Learn a lot. Work with great, educated people who are passionate about what they do. The work you do affects every person who lives.

Cons

Currently, the economy is doing very poorly and this industry is definitely the one being most affected.
