Pros

Most of the people are good to work with, and pretty flexible schedule.

Cons

Management and HR are terrible. Management will stab you in the back at any given moment and HR sits on their thumbs all day "pretending" to do work.

Pros

This job is in Huntsville, Alabama. It also is rewarding to know you are supporting the Army, NASA, etc. It is a job and you receive a paycheck every two weeks.

Cons

Raises are very low esp. for women. They have been known to pay females that do the same job as a male employee, a lot less. They got busted for it during an audit. They do not want a women in charge. They like to keep women's salaries down because they do all the work and they make a huge profit off them. The company seems to find ways to take more and more of your paycheck so you take home less and less each year. You can get a letter from your customer that praises you and if you are female they do not care or acknowledge it. They will acknowledge the letter, read it in the meeting and give the male a bonus but will not mention the females letter. Even hand a bonus to him in a meeting in front of the woman who got the same type letter. The management seems to hoard the raises and give them to themselves. They promote management when they should not be in the position because they have no experience except brown nosing. That is the only reason they are where they are at and still get promoted. They lie to make themselves look better. They backstab and talk about the employees under them. They tell inappropriate jokes that are on the verge or are racist. These are not good management skills. They allow favorite employees to charge overhead for a year and a they send others home. They have to use all their PTO and then they have to take unpaid leave. It is government funding and you may have it one year and not the next. The company including your boss sees you as a number, what kind of profit you make. Insurance is a High Deductible plan and is very expensive. You have to pay between $6000-7000 out of pocket a year before the insurance pays.

Pros

The people I worked with were fantastic and some flexibility. I was there 7yrs altogether and enjoyed it before the merger (ex Logica)

Cons

I was micro managed by my manager who was contracted to work from home. My manager had demanded access to my emails and often deleted or forwarded messages when she knew I had left for the day! I took this to HR as I believed it was a breach of data protection. HR were not supportive at all and it had an adverse affect, my manger got worse with her harassment of me. I left without having another job to go to, that's how bad it got!
