      Pros

      Flexibility of work/ability to work remote; fast paced never boring; nice people; easy to have good work life balance; founding principles are great.

      Cons

      Sub-standard 401K plan, primarily due to being Canadian based and they feel it is off-set by the ability to contribute to a non-qualified plan. No room for advancement, no real career path because it is a consulting firm.

      Pros

      Morale of employees seemed good. Many friendly people that welcome new hires. Some areas allow work from home a couple days per week.

      Cons

      Lack of structure. I have worked in other similarly sized companies and they were all setup and managed a lot better. Unrealistic/unfavorable expectations of employees. Management does not know the processes to get things done. Director was being too hands on when should be doing more management tasks. Conflict with management was handled very poorly. Did not listen to employees, just dictated to them. Compared to other large companies their processes are horrible. It is a hodgepodge of programs slapped together that do not work. Stuck about 10 years behind other companies. Change management for one. Also with recent re-org people have titles of senior IT admins but they do not have the skillset of a senior IT admin.

      Pros

      1. Great work life balance which encourages only 40 hours a week 2. Stock options are amazing 3. PTO is nice since they don't have utilization to worry about. If you start, you get 2 weeks off along with unlimited sick time which doesn't count for PTO. 4. Managers allow you to pursue your passions, if you don't want to be a QA, you can work hard and move over to a BA and so on. 5. Remote working base on your project after a few months of employment.

      Cons

      1. Some people are just there for a pay check so the more motivated people will get frustrated 2. Depending on deadlines, you may have to work 80+ which even though you get flex time, you will start losing that and vacation time.
