I was employed with CapOne for 10yrs. I had to leave due to them not allowing me to work outside the 50 miles radius required by WFH policy. I relocated to a different state. I do not think their decision was fair for me and I tried to escalate to HR during and after leaving but they did not seem to care. They also do stack ranking and PIP people out. This did not happen to me but I saw it happen to others. The environment is some departments is very toxic but that is because they don’t have the best supervisors and manager. I would still recommend Capital One. Just make sure you come in with thick skin and be ready to battle. This is not an easy coast job. You actually have to work and do a good job.

terrible people leadership and performance management. there is no trust or psychological safety. very toxic working environment, overall people are fake and insincere, probably because of the performance management process.
