Pros

Trainer was personally really cool. Using Slack improved the speed for "tech issue" inquiries, that was pretty cool.

Cons

Got hired around 4/1, first day of training was 4/6...by 4/7 12pm the trainers told us they gave us as much info as they could and HAD to put us on the phones right then. So, a total of ZERO training prior to being put on phones as the only thing being accomplished in class was really setting up all the work systems / hoops you will have to jump through, and struggle with every step of the way. The actually training modules themselves were quick and easy to get through, but jfc the disoragnization from everything else.. the order of the mods needed to be done changing, the times you will be on the phone, your shifts, what you are trained for, blah blah blah - dude it was the WORST experience work wise. Seasonal gig was up, racked up a smooth 100+ hours of OT + "promised incentives for the peak time" - did not happen. CNX uses slack for all things tech probs, reporting, when they lay you off, lol...etc. Systems are awful. Training awful. Everything really awful. Here is my helpful review and tip, DONT work there. I generally don't have issues with any places I work, this was simply just an extra job for fun but jeeeezus. They set the bar in he// for WFH CSR. Best of luck if you work for them.

Pros

Low call volume that’s it

Cons

This job is a circus, and you will be just a number. They wait till the day before to tell you about Holidays as far as being off so if you think your going out of town to see family they could careless, they have you email a lead not a manager, not a supervisor but a lead to send your request to which they are going to find every reason not to approve it. My grandma died and they wanted to give me a point yet in the handbook you def get three days off for a grandparent lol not I send my condolences directly to oh you go to the funeral you will have a point! They are very very very micromanagers I mean litterally watching you. Speaking of literally watching you have to set up this camera they give and there’s someone watching you the entire shift. I can’t think of one thing that would make anyone want to work here other than something VERY temporary. If you ever thought you were nothing to a company you have not seen it all. OH not to mention they pay $17 a hour for any and everyone non negotiable only thing they start off with no matter if your have 20 years in experience. If I had to rate the company as a whole it would be a 0 wouldn’t even deserve a 1
