The worst company in America!

Pros

Nice co-workers suffering beside you

Cons

This is the company where great salespeople go to die. The pressure is unbelievable, and the atmosphere is tension-filled. Metrics change constantly and keep you as a puppet on a string, trying to steer customers into the maze of entrapment in a dying industry. Leads are taking care of their paychecks, and agents are undervalued and super stressed. Little trite phrases are used to cover for the "DISH Way," which translates to the garbage-dump mentality of management toward agents. The turnover is so high, that one might think DISH would want to invest the money in actually listening to their agents and perhaps even knowing why so many customers are leaving, but apparently the money is better spent in some other way. There is no place to go, and any stories you hear to the contrary will be lies.

Pros

Free TV including premium channels, “opportunity” that is not really a benefit to you but an excuse to pay you less,

Cons

Work life balance, support from managers, aggressive and demoralizing management from the top down, attitude that everyone is replaceable so work extra hard and don’t expect appreciation/ recognition or a raise, worst pay and benefits in the telecom industry, Charle’s selling point is “opportunity”? but there is a lack of really opportunity for anyone not in the call center, Base Camp (4 week front line employee training/ embarrassment for all none call center and installer employees) is a joke and only makes call center employee feel good about their job at the expense of all other employees, lack of ability to improve morale or retain quality employees, inability to hire quality talent.
