Business Outlook
Pros
Growth and innovation come primarily through acquisitions—not internal investments or transformation. New deals are funded by aggressively squeezing costs out of past acquisitions. While this may work on paper, it limits real capability building and creates a cycle that won’t sustain.
Cons
The culture has become dominated by cost-cutting, fear of risk, and obsessive overuse of DBS tools—many of which are outdated for today’s challenges. Compliance is used more to control than to enable. Leaders who try to drive change or think beyond the playbook are quietly pushed aside. Talent is leaving, and results are seen in stock price decline.
