      Dell's hyper focus on the short-term means sacrificing long-term employee and customer loyalty.

      Good money for good performance.

      Cons

      Too numbers driven (in sales). Short-term quotas are the focus in business sales, which meant too many last minute discounts and less opportunity to provide products when the customer needs them instead of when we need the products to be sold.

      Pros

      Great pay, great people you can become friends with and add to your work references.

      Cons

      No work life balance, even though upper management loves to speak of its existence. It is all about who you know and whos behind you are willing to kiss. You rarely get praise for a good deed but will sure hear about a mistake made...management knows nothing of what is done and how to get the job done but love to come up with ways to "streamline" work so it gets done faster..which makes for more mistakes.
