Working in a mid-sized team with a dedicated team lead who is alway available for any questions and willing to help but also give us challenges that we can explore and learn the ropes on our own. There is a wide variety of projects to work on, and a lot of opportunity to grow. With all the work and duties, there is no pressure from peers or supervisors, the vibe is generally relaxed with room for relaxation and recreation including board game as well as other forms of mood boosters. Unlimited coffee for the caffeine addicts.
Cons
In the process of onboarding there were times when I would feel a bit "unnoticed" compared to my peers whom had mentors and training manager who would visit them weekly and check up on their progress. So most of the time while learning and preparing for the certification I felt in the dark. The preparation was mostly theoretical in comparison to hands-on projects and experience from tackling real-time challenges. I do understand that was due to specific timing of my arrival to the company and lack of manpower at that very moment, so it should not be a regular occurence.
