Devoteam reviews

Currently called Devoteam Creative Tech, this company blocks objective reviews from everywhere, trying to hide their true nature. The people are implicitly tribal; they will not talk to you, try to belittle others, and have no respect. I've never been with a meaner group of people in a room. Managers do not have a broad worldview and know little about management or tech. They are not honest about fundamental things like the company language in job ads! It felt like a trap! We had a manager who used to mock people who left the company in monthly meetings and make fun of people casually; he also talked about pseudoscience and "energy" frequently. The company is in a constant civil war, and office politics are rampant. Colleagues are not kind and know little about the world. They never traveled out of their village and talked badly about each other. I had an odd old manager who I asked for therapy. He ignored my request and had a smirk on his face when he saw me suffering. No matter how hard you work or care about the integrity of your job, they will see you as a machine that generates money. They are middleman brokers who know nothing about tech and have a slave-owner mentality. I would not work with these people if they gave me the highest salary in the world—traumatizing experience.

- Fiscal/Tax games (don't expect a decent base salary, the extra money will come in less taxed ways, travel expenses, etc) - Pay: my income compared with what the client pays is absurd. Outsourcing is just a leech, only accept a offer if you have no other option. - Zero to none contact with the company, classic outsourcing story: I'm pretty much a client employee, nearly zero contact with my official employer except for communicating expenses, timesheets.
