Passive aggressive, quick to point out your flaws never commend your qualities

Free food, flexible schedule, the people you work with are fun and nice to talk to.

Cons

Extremely passive aggressive management, guidelines are never that thoroughly explained, you may never know if you're doing something wrong until you're let go. No commendation for a job well done, horribly maintained porperty and petty about literally every small detail.

I empowered to make executive decisions about my job on daily basis. My manager allows me to freely do my job to ensure great customer service and guest relations

Cons

It is hard to keep hard working individuals in our department because we work long hours and long days and the work in not consistant

Pros

hard working hourly staff that is very friendly, they do all of the work and keep the hotel's business model alive

Cons

food and beverage managers are weak (excluding banquets), quick to leave the building, removed managers to save money i.e. no front desk, asst. banquet or housekeeping managers anymore, don't take suggestions from hourly staff and restaurant kitchen has been for over a year incapable of delivering one night w/o some sort of mistakes
