Pros
Hilton corporations offer really awesome hotel discounts, and my particular hotel has a very nice benefits package. I have been employed for 4 years and 13 days paid vacation each year, 401k with employer match, cheap dental and vision insurance.
Cons
The hotel I work at has been under a raise freeze for almost three years straight, there is no room for growth, the management continuously asks for more effort and better service, telling us that they are charging guests 20 percent service charge so we need to step up the service... however the hotel keeps the entire service charge. The servers make 50 cents more than minimum wage, and thats only the ones that have been there for more than 3 years.
