Pros

-High demand in this type of work (IT external audits mainly) -If you want to be specialized, be sure to check out this team

Cons

-Bad reputation for retaining talent (just go non-FSO, if I were you) -Could use some improvement in their performance and assessment reviews honestly -Repetitive and boring tasks (not for everyone!) -Limited management support

Pros

Diversity and Inclusion, different experiences because of the variety of projects, most people are smart and efficient, good name to have on your CV.

Cons

Hierarchical discrimination, - If you are a Grad, Consultant or even a Senior Consultant, it is very common to be ignored by higher people in the company when you emailed them about something that is not important for them. Unable to contribute with ideas - The person with the highest position always decides what to do and rarely lets staff with a lower rank contribute with ideas. High Turnover Rate - EY is good selling themselves and attracting people but most of them start looking for a new job after less than a year. It is depressing to have a farewell party every Friday. No Work/Life Balance - People who work in internal teams (HR) keep posting on linkedin about flexibility at EY and how they can work from a cafe during the week. Client facing employees need to be at the client's office everyday before 9 and work very long hours, and then spend their weekend trying to catch up with work and admin things like doing expenses.

Pros

Amazing people with incredible technical knowledge. Will go above and beyond to assist new staff fit in. The standard of client provides and amazing environment to learn and excel especially as a new trainee.

Cons

Management ignores issues and there is no off time. Salary does not reflect hours worked or dedication. Routinely getting calls on your days off or have to miss out on plans due to last minute deadlines. Management don’t listen.
