Pros

It looks great on your CV and you get to work with large Corporates.

Cons

Try and research who you will be reporting into. The place is littered with nasty workaholic bullies. I landed up with one and she made my life miserable. EY will pay you as little as possible and work you as hard as they can. If that sounds like fun - you will love it.

Pros

Looks great on the resume when looking for a new job. Worked at some big name clients and gained a lot industry insight and accounting knowledge.

Cons

Although eating hours is an unwritten rule in public accounting for a lot of people I choose not to do this. I was asked to write off time by a manager and limit my time with but 'get the job done' as they 'did not want a difficult conversation with the partner'. I complained about this, promptly found myself off the client, and had an awful review by said manager. Come year end I was threatened with being fired as a result of poor performance. Unsurprisingly, I was never asked for the corroborating evidence I had to back up my version of events and quit before I was axed. Unfortunately, this site won't allow me to name and shame.

Pros

Some of the Benefits are good. The vision and Mission of the firm is good but is not met.

Cons

Management, always passes the blame. Creates a hostile, oppressive environment. HR reps are no help. Management does NOT like to promote African Americans. Group politics, I can go on... Don't be surprised if there is a whistleblower or EEOC claim filed, or either EY ends up in the media.
